This beautiful farmhouse is centrally located near food and shopping in a quiet, safe neighborhood about 2 minutes from downtown Georgetown. We were hit with an unexpected cold snap in the area during the first half our stay, which, if you are familiar with Texas, can cause a 30-40 degree temperature swing between sunrise and sunset. The thermostats at this property are locked, so that led to a chilly first night. However, after reaching out to our host, who was incredibly responsive, she worked with us to raise the thermostat 2 degrees on one of the floors for a night and even offered to bring us some blankets and coats that we can wear around the house to keep us warm during our stay, which was very thoughtful. This was an incredible stay at a gorgeous property. Huge windows that let in a ton of natural light, which I love. I recommend packing a fan if you are visiting in the summer or warm loungewear if visiting in the winter, so you don’t have to worry about any cold nights.

Place was modern and had ample amenities and as shown. There were a few maintenance and housekeeping issues identified while we were there. Hosts were super responsive and addressed quickly. They do use a lot of fragrance like febreeze to freshen the house and fragrances detergent. It was a bit irritating to some of us staying there and when we got home all our clothes and bags had to be washed several times to get the smell out. May be fine for people who like or aren’t bothered by smells but just an fyi…

The house itself was very nice — clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The listing shows a 3 PM check-in time, but the host actually prefers a 4 PM check-in. That said, they were accommodating and allowed us to check in at 3, which we appreciated. The only other downsides were that the towels were quite worn and the pillows were very flat. With a few updates and clearer communication, this stay would have been perfect.
