October 2026We will 100% be back for another few days of retreat to the solitude of this gorgeous home. Unwinding in the hot tub as the snow was dusting down lightly was so peaceful. Everything was extremely clean and cozy. The kids enjoyed playing different board games. Plenty of pots, pans, detergent, toilet paper, etc....didn't have to leave once during our stay. Thanks for a memorable few days!

October 2026All i can say is WOW! The home and location are truly breathtaking. Coming from Texas, we were just in awe from the drive up and of course seeing this beautiful home and view. We really enjoyed ourselves. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy & peaceful getaway this is exactly what you’re looking for. I would also recommend stopping at Safeway in Idaho springs and cooking at home just because the drive up and down the mountain can be a little tiring, it’s about 25 mins up/down. Overall, we had the best time. Cannot recommend this home enough.

October 2026We had a wonderful stay and are so appreciative of the hospitality! The home is beautiful, looks exactly like the photos, and is surrounded by nature. Being on the water right from the back door was the highlight of our stay! While secluded, Idaho Springs is a quick 20 minute drive full of restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again!

October 2026We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! We visited in late September; the fall colors on the way to the cabin and speckled over the mountain behind the private lake made for such a peaceful getaway. The hosts responded to our questions promptly and helped us adjust our reservation after deciding to bring our pets. The only thing I would note for larger groups is the sleeping arrangements. Although the listing states it sleeps 8–10, we found it more comfortable to sleep 6 adults with room for a few children, as well. We had 8 adults, two of whom needed separate sleeping accommodations. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is a full-sized sofa sleeper in the loft. However, it was fairly uncomfortable and seemed better suited for children than adults. Our other guest slept on the living room couch, which was big and comfortable, but is not a sofa sleeper. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, would definitely return, and highly recommend this cabin to others looking for a mountain getaway!

We spent our time paddle boarding, riding in the canoe and kayak and hiking to St. Mary’s glacier. It was an unforgettable trip thank you so much for allowing us to stay.
