Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in Georgetown. The AC wasn't working the first day. An HVAC tech was sent out who worked until 11:30pm to clear a severely clogged drain line that hadn’t been maintained. This wasn't a great way to spend our 1st night with our 4yo trying to sleep. We experienced many cleanliness and maintenance issues. After first arriving, the floors were left dirty and made our feet black when walking around the house. The kitchen faucet was malfunctioning, the shower curtains are decorative without liners so water was getting all over the bathroom floors, buildup all over the fixtures, etc. What was most disappointing was being told that these concerns had NEVER been reported before. While packing up we found a note left by guests dated a week before listing all of the same issues we experienced. The home was ok but our experience didn't match the listing and all of the positive reviews. We would have expected better upkeep and cleanliness for the price.

During our visit, we spent one morning at the house prior to going out in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the guy that does lawn maintenance came over that day to trim trees, mow the lawn, and use a very loud gas blower. This was not a pleasant experience for us that day. The host indicated it was sometimes difficult scheduling yard maintenance when guests are not there since the house is usually always booked. Couldn’t understand why that work could not be scheduled between 10:00 a.m. checkout and 4:00 p.m check-in? Also, no batteries in either of the two TV remotes. Other than that, the place was clean and comfortable. One big bonus was that the house is within walking distance to the Town Square and some great walking trails leading to a local attraction called the Blue Hole near the San Gabriel river.
