Betty's Place. Hot Tub-Sauna-1 Block from Ocean!

Betty’s place is such a cool beach house with everything you could want for a beach getaway. Location, location, location. Come and explore, relax and recharge. My family had a wonderful visit.

This was the perfect weekend getaway. The beach felt totally private and was gorgeous. The house is very kid friendly - our toddler loved all the books. We would absolutely come back!

This place was perfect for the group of 8 we had. The walk to the beach was breathtaking and it was so close to all the things we wanted to do and see. Wish we could stay longer!

There is much to like about Betty’s place. Arch Cape is a fantastic beach, scenic and quiet, well located on the coast. The neighborhood is sweet and secluded. The house has an eccentric, arty charm. The hot tub, sauna, fireplace, and big screen TVs are nice amenities. But some things good to know: There are 5 level changes of 2 to 8 inches on the top floor that were challenging to our toddler and seniors. The upper bedrooms are tight. The stairs to the lower level are narrow, steep, and irregular. One downstairs “bedroom” is also the laundry and utility room and the ground floor passage to outdoors; the other is dark and cramped and has no door. The downstairs bathroom is awkward. So there is inequity in accommodations. And HWY 101 is 50 ft from the house. You don't see or feel it from the house, but the noise from trucks and other vehicles disturbed the sleep of 2 out of 6 adults. We enjoyed our stay. We just thought it was odd that these things were not mentioned in other reviews.

We loved staying in this house- it is so charming! We were looking for an Airbnb in downtown Cannon Beach, but as we booked the vacation late, there were no options left. We found this one, and that it would be a good compromise. We are so fortunate that we found this one instead! The location is far better than being in Cannon Beach in our opinion. The beach itself is just steps away and it feels like a private beach. We went out many times a day to the beach and went into the tidepools and let our dog run around on the beach. Then, when we wanted to go into town, it was just a few minutes’ drive away. The house is so charming and has a beautiful little garden in front. We also went into the hot tub on several nights, which was so relaxing, and also used the sauna. We haven’t stayed in too many Airbnb rentals, but this is by far our favorite one. This is a great place to stay and our group loved how close to the beach it was. We had a group of 10 and it was a bit tight, so I would say 9 max unless one is a kid.

We had a great time!! The beach was only 5 min walk. Responsive and great host. A lot of wood walls in the house help relax and unwind. We had an unexpected visitor, one of the local bull elks while we stayed. The host promptly warned us and let us know about the huge animal in the front yard. Unfortunately (or fortunately) we were out and about at that time we didn’t get to see the elk. we enjoyed visiting the local wineries, the restaurants, breweries, and many small shops in Cannon Beach. There were sauna and jacuzzi available to us we didn’t have time to use either, which was really sad. We simply ran out of time a lot to do in the area. Cannot wait for next time we return to the area!!

Loved staying here - lots of great touches and felt very comfortable. The beds were super cozy!!! Would highly recommend - especially if you have children.
